Delvera Farm (Dirtopia) Ride

On Saturday 9^th August AmaOneTya made the 50km trip out of Cape Town towards Paarl and Stellenbosch to go to Delvera Farm, home of Dirtopia. An early start ensured they caught the morning splendour meeting Margherita there, who voluntered to be their photographer for the day. Margherita took some stunning photos which you can view in the Image Gallery.

The ride started off with some jeep track through the Vineyards before getting to the single tracks going up the side of the mountain. After a short rest at the top the group set off down the long winding single track on the other side. The trail did not have many drops but was very technical due to the narrow trail and plenty of rocks to contend with which made the riding quite difficult, but still enjoyable.

The ride lasted 3 hours doing at least 17km's before the group got back to the Farm houses where Johnny and Justin, who still had enough energy left, rode around the BMX/MTB pump track for some extra entertainment. Delvera is a great place to go riding with some spectacular views of the farm country side and is run by Dirtopia.
