On Saturday 2nd August, Brent and Johnny from AmaOneTya took part in the Stellenbosch Mountain Bike Challenge, doing the 15km course. The day started with a good rain making the course rather muddy which presented the only real challenge on the course. They finished the 15km's in a little over 1hr 30minutes beating 2 cyclists, and another 50-odd that did not finish. Overall the race was a great experience for both AmaOneTya and the other mountain bikers who gave them plenty of support and great comments. They recieved a huge cheer from the crowd when they crossed the finish line, and also managed to get a few bottles of wine from the race announcer.
